As a newborn and family photographer, I am always on the lookout for the most adorable outfits to enhance my studio wardrobe and delight my clients. This beautiful six-month milestone session took place at Garden Park Ward in Salt Lake City, one of the prettiest locations for family photography year-round, in my opinion.

Before the session, we coordinated family outfits for the parents and provided them with several options, including recommendations for where to shop for baby clothes. Today, I am excited to share some of my favorite places to shop for baby clothes in Salt Lake City, Utah, for those who prefer an in-person experience. As well as some online options.

Whether you are expecting your first baby or are already a mother, shopping for your little ones is always a joy. Here are some favorite stores offering the finest selections from newborn to toddler sizes. Enjoy the cutest smiles from this six-month baby milestone session along the way!

This store offers not only beautiful children’s clothing but also home decor, toys, and a delicious food market. The Fox Market in Holladay features an array of locally sourced gourmet foods, artisanal snacks, and freshly baked goods. It’s a perfect stop to enjoy a small bite, with a cozy seating area where you can relax and enjoy your treats. Whether you’re looking for unique gifts, stylish outfits for your little ones, or a tasty treat, the Fox Market in Holladay has something for everyone.

2. FOUR AND TWENTY SAILORS

This is a unique boutique located in Millcreek, Utah, and it is known for its high-quality, timeless clothing suitable for various special occasions. The boutique offers a wide range of clothing options, from newborn and children’s attire to women’s fashion and men’s custom-made suits. They carry notable brands like Petit Bateau, Mayoral, and Ralph Lauren, and pride themselves on excellent customer service and a personalized shopping experience.

3. BABINSKIS BABY

If you’re after a go-to spot for all things baby, this is it! They’ve got everything you need, from nursery gear to clothes and toys. The store was started over 20 years ago by a group of retail fans who were excitedly waiting for their own baby. Since then, their love for baby stuff has only grown. With everything from strollers and car seats to clothes, this Salt Lake City store is definitely one of the best around!

Choosing where to shop for baby clothing also depends on your personal preferences, budget, and the specific needs of your little one. Whether you opt for boutique exclusivity, online convenience, or sustainable second-hand options, there’s no shortage of places to find beautiful and functional baby clothes. Here a few more options to shop for baby clothing:

1.For budget-friendly options and everyday basics, big-box retailers like Target and Walmart are excellent choices. These stores offer a wide range of affordable baby clothes, from everyday essentials to seasonal items. They often carry popular brands that balance quality and cost, making them a go-to for many parents.

2. High-End Department Stores: if you’re looking for designer labels and high-end fashion, department stores such as Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s have extensive baby clothing sections. These stores feature luxurious fabrics and stylish designs, perfect for special occasions or a touch of elegance in your baby’s wardrobe.

3. Local Craft Fairs and Artisan Markets: For one-of-a-kind pieces, local craft fairs and artisan markets can be a treasure trove of handmade baby clothing. Artisans often create unique garments that are not available in mainstream stores. This option supports local business and provides your baby with exclusive, handcrafted attire.
