I’m a photographer, a mother, and someone who finds joy in the everyday beauty of family life. My husband, daughter, and I live in South Jordan, Utah, where we spend our time outside, trying new recipes, and planting hydrangeas and roses in our little garden.
Photography took on a new meaning for me when my daughter was born. I wanted to remember everything the way she curled up in my arms, her tiny expressions, the way time felt like it was slipping through my fingers. That’s when Iris Graciela Photography began: from a deep need to remember, and to help others do the same.
I know what it’s like to always be the one taking the photos. But you deserve to be in them too to see yourself loving and being loved. My goal is to create a calm, thoughtful experience and photographs that bring you back to the heart of your motherhood. Not just for today, but for years from now when your children see these images and remember how deeply they were loved, and how beautifully you were there.

My greatest muse is my family
I believe photographs are treasures, their value only grows with time. One of my most cherished possessions is an album from my childhood, filled with photographs my mom carefully saved for me. I’m so thankful she did.
Now, I do the same for my daughter. Each year, I create albums filled with our memories and she loves flipping through them, pointing to the pictures. The framed photographs in our home are part of our daily lives. They’re not just decorations. They’re reminders of who we are and how much love surrounds us.
That’s why I care so deeply about helping families preserve their own memories not just digitally, but in a way that can be held and passed down. As your photographer, I want to give you more than beautiful images. I want to give you something lasting: photographs you can hold in your hands, flip through with your children, and return to years from now when life looks completely different.
Our kids aren’t going to scroll through our Instagram feeds years from now. But they will open albums. They will run their fingers over the pages, see themselves reliving those moments seeing their childhood, your memories, and the love that surrounded them.
That’s the heart of my experience a thoughtful, meaningful process that’s not just about taking pictures, but about preserving what matters most in a way that lasts.
